PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Andrews Institute is a 141,000 sq.ft. state of the art facility for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The campus consists of two buildings tied together with a 100 ft. diameter courtyard with fountains and seating.

 The first building is a 90,000 sq.ft. medical office building. This building features a grand entry with a 17 ft. tall water feature; a 26,000 sq.ft. surgery center with 8 OR’s, including 4 observation orthopedic OR’s; a 15,000 sq.ft. physical therapy center that includes spinal & hand therapy; and a diagnostic unit with a 3T MRI.  The 2nd floor is over 35,000 sf of premium physicians office space.

The second building is a 41,000 sf facility that contains a 25,000 sf athletic performance enhancement center. This is where potential NFL draft picks have comprehensive training prior to the combines. The facility includes performance testing, aqua therapy, over 9,000 sf of open workout area, outdoor covered half basketball courts, tracks, pitching mounds, and practice fields. Also included is a 16,000 sf research and education center that houses research facilities and a surgical skills lab. The facility also includes a kitchen/café area.
