PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Set among well-landscaped grounds with numerous fountains, North Cypress Medical Center provides advanced medical and healthcare services to Houston and the surrounding areas. North Cypress’s capabilities include: the latest diagnostic PET scanner, an ultra-high resolution rapid CT scanner, medical and radiation cancer centers, an outpatient surgery center, a comprehensive breast center, emergency rooms and administrative offices.

5th & 6th Floor Expansion- This project consists of a two-floor expansion to the existing/occupied North Cypress Medical Center. Each floor consists of approximately 17,000 sf with associated mechanical spaces, and a new penthouse. The expansion added 48 additional acute care beds. In order to limit contact with the staff and to work more efficiently, a scaffold was erected surrounding the building from start to finish. Two new elevators were installed, and the four existing elevators were extended, all without service interruption for patients and staff.
