PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Trustpoint Hospital was originally designed as a 2-story 70,000 sf rehabilitation and psychiatric acute care hospital. Phase I included 27 rehab beds, 26 psychiatric care beds, and 9 acute beds. Phase II of Trustpoint Hospital included a 2-story 100,000 sf rehabilitation and psychiatric acute care hospital expansion. Phase II added 123 total beds including geriatric care, child/adolescent care and additional rehab and psychiatric units. A 2,500 sf connector, and a 5,000 sf storage building were also completed. Additional amenities such as a volleyball court, rehab gym, outdoor pool, and basketball gym were added along with innovative finishes to give the overall facility a more residential and less institutional feel without sacrificing patient safety
